EXCELLENCE IN AGRICULTURE

Olympia Park has also established a strong agricultural programme that provides learners with hands-on vocational experience in breeding, raising and exhibiting competitive show rabbits and poultry.

At the OCSA Autumn Chicken Show during the Pretoria Festival, the school secured 10 Gold Certificates, 12 Silver Certificates and three major trophies, including Best Bantam Hard Feather Bird on Show, Best Light Soft Feather Bird on Show and the Top Show Exhibitor title.

Learners and the school’s agricultural team also compete at the annual Pretoria Show against provincial breeders.

The school’s agricultural activities have expanded over recent years to include projects such as an agricultural tunnel, mushroom project, poultry facilities and livestock activities, creating opportunities for learners to acquire practical agricultural and entrepreneurial skills.
