VENDA FOOTBALL CLUB WELCOMES NEW HEAD COACH AND ASSISTANT COACH

Venda Football Club (Venda FC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kaitano Tembo as head coach and Fani Mthethwa as assistant coach, effective immediately.

The appointments mark the beginning of a new chapter for the club as it looks to rebuild momentum following a difficult start to the Motsepe Foundation Championship 2026/27 season.

“On behalf of the board, management, technical team, players, supporters and the entire club family, we are delighted to officially welcome Tembo and Mthethwa to Venda FC,” the club said in a statement.

“We are confident that their leadership, experience and professionalism will help guide the club toward achieving its goals, both on and off the pitch.”

The club acknowledged that the opening stages of the season have not delivered the results supporters had hoped for, but expressed confidence that the new technical team, together with the playing staff, can turn the campaign around through unity, discipline and hard work.

The appointments follow the departures of outgoing head coach Clinton Larsen and coaches Solly Luvhengo and Nkululeko Monaheng, whom the club thanked for their dedication, professionalism and contribution to the development of players and staff during their time at Venda FC.

“Their leadership, hard work and passion for the game have left a lasting impact on our players, staff and the club as a whole,” the club added. “We wish them continued success in the next chapter of their careers.”

Venda FC says it remains committed to building a competitive, united squad and looks forward to the new coaching team working closely with players and staff in the weeks ahead.
